Toronto General Hospital: By The Numbers

1959

The year, the first Adult CHD clinic was held! This was also the year that Barbie dolls made their first appearance, the Montreal Canadians won the Stanley Cup, and NASA introduced the first astronauts…of course, it would be another 10 years before they landed on the moon. There were no answering machines, cell phones or personal computers. But the TCCCA still managed to take good care of adults with CHD!
