About Me

What is your special area of interest?

My area of interest is in complex arrhythmias and heart rhythm management in ACHD patients. My focus is to correct arrhythmias by catheter ablation and by implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators when needed.

What is the best thing about working in CHD?

The best thing about working in ACHD is to see how wonderful patients are doing after we have done something for them and to see them flourishing outside of the hospital. It’s so rewarding as a physician to help patients with CHD and see them live healthy fulfilling lives.

What is one thing that you think all patients with CHD should know?

All CHD patients should know that there are treatments available for every one of the possible conditions and that many of these treatments are quite effective. I would encourage anyone with CHD to seek medical consultation if they are having any concerns, questions, so that they can be informed as to what could be offered to them to help their condition.

If you weren’t an advanced practice provider, what would you be?

I would probably be an engineer or a scientist and try to figure out ways to develop new treatments or tools to help doctors and medical professionals improve patients’ lives.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents or pets?

One of my hobbies is to collect model trains and build nice layouts to showcase the trains. I am also an avid gardener and love to plant new trees and plants especially vegetable gardens and fruit trees. I also love to help at my children’s school with their activities.
