What is your special area of interest?
Cardiology, Adult Congenital.

What is the best thing about working in CHD?
I love working with the patients and their families – building long term relationships. I also love working with a team that is committed to providing excellent care to our patients – and I learn something new everyday! I agree with you Patty – lifelong care is so important!

When did you decide to be a nurse?
I decided to be a nurse when I was 10 (my grandmother was a nurse) so I have never really thought about another profession. I do plan to volunteer at the Humane Society when I retire someday!

Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents or pets or good jokes?
I have one dog -Duncan Murphy – he is a wheaten terrier. I scrapbook, paddle on a dragon boat, and walk in local races.
