UCSF, Master’s degree in science. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specialty.

What is your special area of interest?
Learning how patients manage their mental and emotional health in ACHD.

What is the best thing about working in CHD?
The amazing patients. I love to learn their “story” from their anatomy to their life challenges. Each patient is so unique.

What is one thing that you think that all patients with CHD should know?
You are stronger than you know. I am continually amazed at how our patients persevere despite medical challenges.

If you weren’t a Nurse Practitioner, what would you be?
An acupuncturist.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents or pets?
No pets, 2 busy young boys that are enough to manage! I love exercising especially running, Pilates, yoga, weight training, and hiking
