University of British Columbia.

What is your special area of interest?
Adult Congenital Heart Disease/Connective Tissue Disorders and Inherited Aortopathies.

What is the best thing about working in CHD?
Relationships that we develop over the years with patients and their families.

What is one thing that you think that all patients with CHD should know?
Patient’s with CHD will require lifelong care and follow up.

If you weren’t a nurse, what would you be?
I would likely be an educator of some sort – in a health related field.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents or pets?
I coach softball for girls. We have a beautiful dog (Hungarian Vizsla) who is our much loved family pet.
